I don't want you to rearrange your blog for my pleasure; I'm quite capable of doing that for myself. I thought you wanted your blog to be dark-on-light for random strangers (ie people who have never been on DW/LJ) but you can't make it that way because it messes up your reading page.

You've got a LOT more patience for these people than I do. Given that the VAST majority of your traffic must come either from people reading through DW/LJ friends pages, or through feed readers of one kind or another, I could quite understand you not caring about the reactions of a vocal minority.
