PSA: still not dead. May be on Monday

I am going in for minor surgery to remove a mole on my back on Monday. It's been there since I was born, but has recently become more prominent and started itching. The doctor says it's probably nothing to worry about, but he's going to whip it off just to be sure.

I'm trying not to worry about it, but I can't help having it prey on my mind, and this necessarily impacts upon the blogging. On the plus side, it does mean that I have finally done a bit of work on some of the design stuff I am meant to be doing, because that is a nice distraction. Hopefully it hasn't made my design work all grim and worried-looking...

In other news, it's still snowing, and the current temperature is -3. This is getting really old now...

The doctor who removed my mole wore a bow-tie and cackled evily about Machiavelli the whole time. You'd have loved it!

My mom's had about 500 moles taken off, doesn't seem like too much of a traumatic thing from what she's said.

You should pick the hello kitty band-aid. Or ninja turtles. It'll heal up faster that way, I'm sure.

Don't worry. My mum had lots of moles removed. Now she's dead of course, but am sure this is not cause and effect.

They just chop them off, freeze them off or zap them with a laser. "Minor surgery is over-egging the pudding. Personally, I would regard it as a rather more minor procedure than having your piercing!
