2010 is really turning out to be a big steaming pile of shite. Anyone else got anything to throw at me? Come on, bring it on. I can take it. I'm a big girl.

I really, really, really want to go and kick the shit out of something right now. Somebody give me an excuse. Please.

Today's cure for all ills: Watching LotR on 1 1/2 times normal speed. Yes, it's comedy seeing them all running around like they're in a silent movie, and missing significant pauses for drama (or even breath) when speaking.

But then you wouldn't hear all the talk about Dwarf tossing!

Speaking of which, Doctor Mat has prescribed Red Dwarf.

Doctor Mat knows what he's talking about, clearly.

I have found Red Dwarf to be an effective antidepressant.

I personally suggest Polymorph. :D

Your physician sounds wise indeed! I'll leave your therapy in his capable hands then :)

(As a footnote, we have a PS3 (got it a few months back) which for some reason keeps the sound on when going at one-and-a-half speed :D And yes, we did only just find that out ;) )

Yes, I also have a PS3 and we often play boring bits of things at 1.5X speed. It becomes strangely addictive! :D

See, the only proper addiction we've managed so far is spreading the word of Dragon Age - a friend visited for New Year's, liked the look of the game, bought it for herself, played it in front of her flatmate who liked the look of the game... Yeah, we're getting some indirect hatred for that ;)

I got that for my birthday a few weeks back, but life's been too crazy for me to play it much as yet. :(

In that case, Happy Birthday! And, when you get the time to play it, good luck escaping from it's terrible, icy grip :P
