Yes, I also have a PS3 and we often play boring bits of things at 1.5X speed. It becomes strangely addictive! :D

See, the only proper addiction we've managed so far is spreading the word of Dragon Age - a friend visited for New Year's, liked the look of the game, bought it for herself, played it in front of her flatmate who liked the look of the game... Yeah, we're getting some indirect hatred for that ;)
