Lost Contacts in Phone :(

My phone went wiggy last night and I had to do a hard reset. I have therefore lost ALL my contacts. Yes, even matgb. Please, if you can read this and you have my number can you text me, saying who the text is from? And then I can get some of them back, at least.

Number is on my contacts page on DW (f-locked) or my profile page on Faceache.

And now I go to redownload all my apps and resubscribe to all my podcasts...

my 5800 saves contacts to E:\others\contacts... if you have a memory card, it may be possible that they might be saved?

That's so annoying for you, and horrible timing. I've started keeping all my contacts on my sim card as well as on my phone handset, since I lost them all last time (different reasons).

I think we have the same phone (Nokia 5800?), and wierdly, I switched back to my old handset last night because 5800 was driving me bonkers, just generally being sllooowwww and confused. Luckily I didn't have to do a hard reset, but I wonder if it's the firmware that's on there...? I've not checked to see if there's an upgraded version. Perhaps I should, though, because I discovered a bunch of free books for the 5800, so have been able to enjoy Sherlock Holms at work... (heh heh). I got mine from the nokia ovi store, where do you get your apps from?
