I lasted ten years with Ian, but he was slowly driving me mad. He's a lovely, lovely bloke, and a fab dad to Holly, but he was never really right for me. But he was safe, and I think I needed that for a while. We live about 200 yards away from each other and are still pretty close.

Mat, I met while going to see a show in London with [livejournal.com profile] ginasketch. He's... He's the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm a lot poorer financially since I left Ian, but my life is richer in so many other ways it's amazing. And he has hair like a timotei advert ;)
