I don't have a coherent storyline for how the story will end, but I do have some pointers.

Given the presence of RogerLloydPack cybermen, plus the fact that Amy had never seen a dalek before, plus lots of other little hints that I won't list here (things being anachronistic and such in various places) I think we're in the wrong universe. I really really hope that we're in the one Rose bloody Tyler and her Tenth Doctor Shaped Sex Toy are in, and that they have been wiped from the space-time continuum entirely... ahem. Anyway...

I don't buy the Two Doctors theory. But there is the fact we have already seen a fair few time paradoxes. So the Doctor is quite capable of freeing himself, even if it creates a paradox, because once he's out, he can time travel.

The painting by Vincent

shows THE SHELL of the Tardis exploding, but another shell intact underneath. And if the box is destroyed, that doesn't mean that the Tardis is destroyed ANYWAY because the box is just the gateway to the wormhole that leads to the dimension of the Tardis insides. It has already been explicitly stated this series that the insides of the Tardis are in a separate dimension, remember, and Moff seems to be quite good at flagging things up early on so they're not total deus ex machina *coughcoughRusty*

I also don't buy the "River is the Doctor" theory, but if she IS, I know that DocTard people will be squeeing like mad over her final line. She's not apologising to the Doctor, she's apologising to the TARDIS.

I would like to see an explanation for why there are little model weeping angels and a Liz Ten in Amy's bedroom, and where this stone dalek I keep seeing in photos has come from...

There are rumours that the Cybermen in this story are actually meant to be Mondas/Telos ones, but they didn't have the money to take the Cybus emblems off the costumes.

The idea that River Song is the doctor from the future... doesn't that mean that the Doctor ends up marrying himself?

There are lots of chewy paradoxes that could point to alternative universes. I hope the actual reveal will be a bit more cunning than that though.

I think someone has tampered with Amy's mind and erased certain memories. I still want to know what she was doing in the missing years when she was waiting for the Doctor to return.

I also have suspicions about the Tardis-like ship in The Lodger. I think that will become significant, somehow.

Amy is River Song's next regeneration?

She can't be, because we've already seen River die and get saved onto the library's hard-drive in Forest of the Dead.

Mind you, I do find myself wondering how many hearts Amy has...

Darnit. Another perfectly good theory spoiled by facts.

Maybe the fact that she likes Romans is a clue to her being Romana? That would also fit in with the alternative universe idea, since we last saw Romana in E-Space.

However, I still think Moffat will come up with something better (and less fanwanky) than that.

Wait, River = The Doctor? Dear god no! I'm not against it in a 'he can never regenerate into a female' sort of way just that...River has called Eleven and Ten sweetie and all other types of lovely-dovey words. I don't know about you but I'd never refer to a past self as sweetie. Talk about taking incest to the extreme.

River is not the Doctor. If she is, then Moffat has already killed off the central character of the show. He's hardly likely to do that, is he?

Oh I know that, just amazed some fans even thought about that. It's if they forgot what happened in the Silence of the Library two-parter.

And the only female allowed to portray the Doctor is Joanna Lumney.
