I'm getting a Wildfire in a week or so (belated birthday present from The Boy) and having seen one in the flesh, I'm really happy with it. Would've preferred a Desire but £400's a wee bit out of our price range ^^

If you think you will be able to afford the Desire, go for it, but you don't miss much with the Wildfire - it's just a little smaller, that's all. I desperately wish I had bought an HTC instead of the rubbishy thing I have that is now faulty after being sent away to be fixed and coming back as a new handset. Blah.
