Debi comes a very close second indeed, but Millennium pips it, partly because I know several people even in the US and Canada who love his political blogging just for the writing ability.

HOWEVER, I would here like to point out that if I hadn't been stupid, I would have nominated Alex Wilcock for this and probably voted for him as well - I just assumed someone else would nominate Alex.

If this poll was AV and allowed write-in votes, my preferences would go 1 Alex 2 Millennium 3 Debi and I'd be very happy to see any of them win...

I've voted for Caron before, and indeed for the Laser Kitty With The Whip, so I thought it was another's turn this year, and while long may the Elephant trumpet I do find him far too fluffy and twee for my tastes. Hence I've voted for Clifford, because he really gets up the noses of the Tory sewing circle, and that is A Good Thing.

I notice with some resigned amuseument that me asking my flist to vote for me didn't actually increase my vote tally.

You are winning at the moment, though, what more do you want? ;-)

What's more puzzling to me is how, in that company, I got any votes at all, let alone currently being (narrowly) third. Madness.

I was not when I wrote that comment, though! Since then I've received a vote.
