My belly has gone all sorts of interesting colours.
I have lost my belly button piercing because one of the keyholes has gone right through where the fistula was.
Having a bath is AMAZING, even though it's difficult to get in and out.
In fact, movement of any kind is difficult. You don't realise how much you take your capabilities for granted until you don't have them any more.

Anyway: task for today is to obtain sick note from doctor and take it in to work so that I can have SSP, which is a MASSIVE £79.15 a week. My friend Ted is coming to pick me up soon and I shall go on this adventure. magister is coming with me to aid in the walking and things. It should be fun...

Oh yes, and the descision is made. The most quintessentially English thing is Brian Blessed in cricket whites singing the Doctor Who theme at the Last Night of the Proms, broadcast on radio 4.

A shame that you lost your belly button piercing, though from the sound of it Gideon was preparing to gnaw his way out which would've been far more unpleasant I'm sure. (Infinitely more Youtube-worthy though *hits self*)

Just promise me that you'll take it easy, my mum was back in hospital within a week after having her cysts removed (just boring endometriomas) because she did silly things like pulling washing machines out to mop behind them.

Also, if there's anything I can do, even if it's just popping in to visit or taking the doggies out, let me know ok?

Yeah, I think going to the doctor's AND to work was a bit much for today. I am lots hurtier now than I was earlier. Am going to be very lazy tomorrow.

When I'm home I need to find that link to a speech Brian Blessed did a while ago.
He walks onto the stage, ignores the podium, stands in front of the stage and goes: "CAN YOU HEAR ME?" - chorus of "YES" from the audience - and does his speech without amplication. ;o)

Of course you realise that you'll have to eat lots of extra cake to counteract the sudden loss of mass. Otherwise you may get even more unbalanced than you already are ...and fall over again. Send M to the kitchen immediately .
