The Tories said cut faster and sooner. People understand that coalitions involve compromise but did we compromise? Did we negotiate and achieve an outcome of neither fast cuts nor slow cuts but something in between? No! We capitulated on the most important issue facing the country and signed up to full flavour savage tory cuts.
