Yes, and so have I, but I don't call that rape, and I suspect you don't either. The difference being that we are both sure we consented, even though we wouldn't normally have done so. Also, in my case, in those situations I have always been the instigator: the question of consent is something I have occasionally had to sort out in the morning, and that's really a risk I shouldn't have taken.

The trick to not being accused of rape, you see, is not to do something that can be construed as rape. The answer is not to define consent in slippery ways - that is what allows predatory rapists the leeway to make excuses to themselves and others which allow them to escape conviction and carry on offending.

I'm not saying there's no such thing as an honest mistake, I'm saying that the chances of an honest mistake actually being rape are vanishing small. I don't know any people who have been falsely accused of rape, i know lots of people who have been raped, in all sorts of ways, without the perpetrator suffering in any way.
