So I, personally, am the fourteenth best Lib Dem blogger, and my blog is the seventeenth best blog, according to those who voted in the Total Bollocks Willy Waving Awards. This puts me in the slightly embarrassing position of having beaten my favourite minister of state in both charts - sorry Lynne :(

Am really glad to see Caron second only to Lib Dem Voice and Count Packula in each chart. I hope this is a good sign for the Botties tonight. I've been nominated for best post in that, but I don't expect to win. Both Neil's and Alex's nominated posts are better than mine. Also I have issued threats to various people about what will happen if I DO win...

If it's entirely untypeable, the answer is always 'penis'.

(I'm not even being a troll - so many people must have caught the 4chan meme of doing this to captchas that they must filter for it by now, which means it's actually more likely to avoid giving them a false result than anything else you could put in.)

Actually, I got lucky and the word in English was the one that had previously been done, so I just typed the English transliteration for the Greek - that way if anyone else happens to get that one and know the Greek alphabet, they have some kind of chance.

I hate CAPTCHAs, and can't understand why they're used at all...

I use them reluctantly; at some point I plan to turn anonycommenting back on.

CAPTCHAs are the work of the devil. Here's a review of the state of the art from about six months ago, with the takeaway quote "The perfect CAPTCHA is no CAPTCHA at all."

Personally, I'm minded never to fill them in, and to send snot-o-grams (by email! to humans!) explaining precisely why they've excluded me.
