RIP Byron

Byron's tumour got massively worse over the weekend. We went back to the vets' today and took the decision that, given that it was inoperable and was getting so much worse so quickly it was better to end it now before he really started suffering. I was with him at the end, and held him and told him what a good boy he was and that I love him. He died at about 11.30.

I never got to meet Byron, but hearing about him all these years, I feel like I know him.

My heart goes out to you and the fam. I'm sure Byron is checking out the Rainbow Bridge and having a great time right now.
