Thank you all for your supportive comments on my last post, and all the texts and tweets and stuff too; they are much appreciated. I might reply to you all individually at some point when I can see to type while reading them. At the moment I just fill up if I look at the comments to that entry.

We are all bearing up in this house, although little things are difficult. We all keep expecting to see him in his favourite places, and Mat keeps talking about "the dogs" and catching himself. Holly is sitting in Byron's favourite chair lots. James is being very quiet. And Roxy just seems very confused - but this is normal for Roxy.

Anyway, thank you again.

I remember going to my parents house after Tiffany died, expecting to see her. I even thought I'd glimpsed her out of the corner of my eye more than once. This will fade in time.

As many before me have stated, Byron had a great life with a mummy who loved him dearly and took good care of him. I know it hurts like hell right now, but if you hold on to that thought and all the other good thoughts you have of him, I promise it will help.
