And seeing as I seem to be having a YAY MALE FEMINISTS day today (hell, I live with two of them!), this is an oldie but a goodie.

So here's the deal: - woman gets raped by her husband, and reports it. - after threats from husband, withdraws allegation - is notified that she will therefore be prosecuted for perverting the course of justice by filing false rape claim - tells solicitor that it wasn't a false rape claim, she just couldn't go through with court case - is notified that she will therefore be prosecuted for perverting the course of justice by FALSELY WITHDRAWING a rape claim - prosecution ADMIT HE RAPED HER AND BEAT HER ON REGULAR BASIS, YET SHE'S THE ONE CONVICTED OF A CRIME BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T FACE A COURT CASE. And people wonder why the vast majority of women just don't report at all.
