I missed the start of the panel so no idea what the actual subject was, but when I logged in on the Sunday morning Adam Roberts and some other writers were talking about classism and Occupy and stuff.

Could well have been. They did keep coming back to Occupy for no apparent reason, which does suggest it was supposed to be the theme.
