I wouldn't want to rain on Caron's parade, but Nick Clegg's private address is hardly a secret to anyone who lives in SW London. Even if you don't know exactly where in Putney he lives (as I didn't), the policeman standing outside 24/7 is a bit of a clue.

My 1950s life
Casual clothing options were limited, so you may well have opted for knitwear, jacket and slacks... (Hey, as long as there was come comfy cotton available.

Before world music was widely available, you may have listened to traditional jazz revival or bebop... (ok, I find it hard to believe that music selection was THAT limited since that's the choice you get for nearly everything)

Because of rationing, you could well have been limited to a small portion of meat and lots of vegetables...(There was a mention of "creamed fish on spinach" good lawd)

Professional opportunities were limited for women, but you may have become a teacher or nurse... (blah, or NOT)

You may have lived in a newly-built flat in a tower block or a new maisonette...(Ooh, fancy)

I wish there was a US version.
