Wow @ free films. I've recently been pondering republishing my MPhil thesis on Godard's early depiction of violence, and the lack of availability of his films in the English-speaking market has been a major con. A Bout de Souffle is probably the easiest to come by anyway, but that's given my plans a bit of a boost. I'd also recommend Resnais's Hiroshima Mon Amour if you've not seen it already.

That Marvel Women casting was awesome right up until they cast Emma Caulfield as a Japanese woman.

I wish I liked comic books/graphic novels. I've given many of them a try based on fandoms I like and they don't do it for me. That said, Angie Harmon as SheHulk would be great as would Charlize Theron as Captain Marvel. I want to go see Snow White and the Huntsman a lot for her evil queen.

I also like the "Why I Write 'Strong Female Characters'" article. Boy I want a lightning bolt of inspiration and energy to get back to writing.
