The whole welfare benefits thing had me at a very low point last week.

Not that I'm shocked the Tories are being bastards who show no ounce of compassion, it just solidified how horrid people are to one another.

It seems to me that the "rich boys who've never done an honest day's work" narrative is finally catching on; I seem to be seeing it a lot everywhere. Which is wonderful, because when a narrative like that catches hold, its targets may as well give up and go home... and we might actually see people being a bit more critical in the MPs they elect next time, choosing them based more on life experience than on party.
