Just so you know about the cons thing, I've never heard of *anyone* getting harassed at Thought Bubble, and you should come to that this year because I'm going and having a stall with the other Mindless (also less good people like Kate Beaton, Kieron Gillen, David Hine and Alison Bechdel will be there, but mostly me).

Yeah, it's the one in Leeds, and it's *VERY* good (and *very* family/child-friendly, you could take Holly and not have to worry at all). Run by nice people and thoroughly civilised, with a good mixture of art-comics types and superhero people.

If money's tight for you this year, I might (MIGHT) be able to wangle extra stallholder passes for some or all of you, Jennie and James to be 'helpers' for the Mindless Ones (though it depends how many Mindless are going and the maximum number of stall passes we can buy).

But given how close it is to you, you should really pop along -- it may be the best comic con in the UK.

HPV jabs: why do we even allow schools to opt out of this kind of thing? It's basic healthcare. Seems to me it would be reasonable to require them to allow access as a condition of being allowed to be in charge of other people's children.
