Today, everything is frustrating. There are THINGS and STUFF that are IMPORTANT and everybody else seems to be concentrating on things that are not important* and it's WRONG and people are making stupid facile blog posts** and even Alan Rickman can't make tea properly*** and we're still living in a shitey unfair world and I want to blow things up.

I blame hearing lots of news stories about that tosser Assange after having watched an explodey film yesterday.

I know the feeling very, very well. I'm deliberately not doing much politics-blogging right now because of the panic attacks it was giving me, but if I was, it wouldn't be "is David Laws maybe going to return to Cabinet?" *or* "We must all support Assange because no man who has ever opposed the US government has ever been a rapist!"

Same here. Hopefully, Clegg's speech the other week about how he'd realised the Tories are all a bunch of bastards marked an actual turning point. We can hope, anyway :-/

I believe the hon. gentleman refers to the snappily-entitled "Nick Clegg statement on Lords reform", issued on 6 August. If I'm wrong, I'm sure Mr. .info will swiftly correct.

The Lib Dem site presents the statement in the form of poetry, which it perhaps doesn't deserve.

I'm not only not politics-blogging, but probably giving up party politics altogether in favour of more issue-based activism. Westminster just does my head in.

Am sick of hearing about what a "misunderstood hero" Assange is as well. Vomit.

Also, he should be arrested for his shitty dance moves alone:
