Apparently any female protagonist who hasn't been raped is "unrealistic". I blame Alan Moore for this. Sure, he writes rape sensitively and well and shows how horrible it is... But he writes it ALL THE TIME.

He's definitely *trying* to make a serious feminist point, but the end result has been first that he seems to be protesting too much, and secondly that it's legitimised rape as a storytelling device for people whose motivations are far less savoury.

Of course, if it's rubbish then off to the charity shop but I like what I've seen thus far on t'internet :)
