Well, to be fair, Alice has never made a secret of being fairly conservative off-stage. And as conservative as his views on rock/metal are, one could argue that deeds (like having a female guitarist) speak louder than words. Unless, of course, you want to be cynical about it and argue that the band is a replaceable lot anyway and that Orianthi was hired for her looks rather than her guitar skills. I'm still trying to decide just how cynical I am but then I stopped listening to new AC albums around "Brutal Planet".

As for whether rock/metal needs more "balls"....

I think I need some Daisy Chainsaw now.
