That list of bad URLs reminded me of one here in Toronto for a patient-therapist matching site. Their original URL was simply therapists.com, which made me laugh every time I saw the posters in the subway trains. They've now changed it to lookingforatherapist.com, and despite the pesky "a" in there, it still makes me giggle.

The Government of Canada had (probably still has) an anti-drug campaign going aimed a teens. The URL for the French-language version of the website (since everything from the feds has to be bilingual) was something like '0droguepourmoi.gc.ca", as in "zero drugs for me". Except the zero looked more like a capital "O", which in mind mind always read like a paen to drugs - "O drogues!", you know, like "O Canada!" I just checked and the URL for the French site is now "http://www.strategienationaleantidrogue.gc.ca/prevention/jeunes-youth/index.html", so maybe I'm not the only one who raised an eyebrow at the original URL.
