I have been reading things - by people I normally agree with - and having thought processes like: Yes, this seems like a reasonable AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH NO THAT'S NOT WHAT IT MEANS AT ALL WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR READING COMPREHENSION!!!! and yes, you're making a good point th OH MT GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ABILITY TO WRITE COHERENT SENTENCES!!!! and having generally homicidal feelings.

I suspect, therefore, that this is neither a good day to blog, nor a good dayto leave blog comments.

Thanks. I thought I was maybe being a little too hard on him (and I'm not *actually* going to sue him) but... I don't think I've ever in my life come across someone with a bigger entitlement complex than that.

Incidentally, he's very lucky I'm not a vindictive man, because his disregard for intellectual property law has led him to use the Apple logo on his advertising agency's website in a way that would imply endorsement. If I were a tenth the 'douche bag' he thinks I am, I'd have let Apple's lawyers know, and let them destroy him forever... but I have been merciful, this time.

I'd have let Apple know - they're notoriously litigious and it would do the job of causing him pain without you having to lift a finger

Ah, I don't actually want to cause him any pain (though I was *very* tempted after his last couple of rants), just to make him very, very scared of ever doing anything like that ever again.

I think the fact that my blog post is on the first page of Google hits for his company, and the only two posts by anyone other than him on his company's facebook wall are from me, is probably going to be enough of a painful reminder for him for a while ;)
