Irrelevant, since I don't eat "a yogurt," I eat a bowl of yogurt scooped out of a liter container, usually adding fruit or jam to it. And there's nothing to lick off the lid of those yogurt containers.

Ooooh, a whole liter of yoghurt? Nice! Where do you get yours from?

I usually only get the 500g-ish tubs, then scoop stuff out and mix. But the last little bit gets jam added to the pot because washing-up and I have an awkward and uneasy peace. Finally, because I'm a less-than-careful shopping carrier, the lids of those get coated in yoghurt, which then gets removed by force and eaten.

Many U.S. supermarkets have them (the package is a bit under a liter, 907 g by weight, since most people and companies here are still using archaic units, but I converted for convenience). I started buying these because it was the only way to get whole milk yogurt without making my own, and then I got to liking the flexibility of being able to add all sorts of fruit, jam, etc. to it, or use it as an ingredient.

Not necessary as such, but enjoyable. Sometimes if I'm eating a yoghurt in public, I'll feel self-conscious enough to scrape the stuff on the lid off with a spoon, rather than licking it directly. But if I'm on my own, I'm licking the hell outta that, baby!

I do that. But only if there's someone looking. Otherwise I just lick it.

I struggle to even finish a yoghurt before the dogs want the lid *and* the pot.

I voted disgusting. I just can't. Eeeew and yuck and sticky and icky and aargh and what if some got on your chin and was all revolting? I do not waste yoghurt, however. If eating a small pot of yoghurt, I pull the lid back so it's not quite completely off and then scrape the stuff stuck on the lid down into the pot with my spoon before removing the lid completely and putting it in the bin. Then I can eat my yoghurt.
