Fully agreed that York is lovely, and I'm greatly saddened that we likely won't be returning. I also had fun at Glee, which was wildly unexpected given that crowded rooms, noise, and alcohol are all things that don't agree with me at all. My only real problems were:

-As far as I'm aware there wasn't a quiet room, which would have been useful as by Sunday I was getting close to my socialisation limit. This probably can't be helped due to the general lack of space at the Barbican, but it still would have been nice to have.
-The Barbican had a distinct lack of plug sockets/charging points.
-No cloakroom/bag storage. Again, understandable due to the lack of space, but led to some minor hassle after checking out of my hotel.

Also, thanks for doing these writeups - if only everyone on committees was so good at transparency!
