Firefox and its lovely add-ons make me happy.

Extensions (enabled: 24, disabled: 0):

  • Adblock Plus 1.0.2 - PAH! I spit in your face, evil advertisers! And hopefully will never have to put up with supporting you again, thanks to Dreamwidth!

  • Autofill Forms 0.9.5.2 - because I am lazy.

  • British English Dictionary 1.19 - because I get very cross with the USian dictionary.

  • ColorZilla 1.9 - because then I can colourmatch things.

  • Download Statusbar 0.9.6.4 - replicates the functions I used from DownThemAll but more compact and more usable.

  • FoxyTunes 3.5.4.1 - because who doesn't need the music?

  • InfoLister 0.10 - works like Extension List Dumper, but Dumps themes all in one list, rather than 2 separate ones, and with plenty of options. I used it to make this list. Now if only there was one that did extra search engines too (I had to do those by hand)

  • Java Quick Starter 1.0

  • LiveJournal Addons 8.6.1 - not just for LJ! if you use any little bits of code frequently, you can program this to autoinsert them. I kid you not, the LC netcast would take me twice as long without this little beauty. And it does loads of cool stuff besides that.

  • Netcraft Anti-Phishing Toolbar 1.2 - I use this because it tells you at a glance who owns a site, who hosts it, when it was created, etc. A tool for nosey people.

  • Personas for Firefox 1.0 - Skinning tool. I am currently using "Cosmic" but expect I shall change fairly regularly.

  • StumbleUpon 3.29 - for those rare occasions when I have nothing to do on the computer. I bet I haven't used it in 6 months. Still, I can't bear to get rid.

  • Sun Cult 1.2.200901 - worldwide sunrise/sunset/moonrise/moonset/moonphase timetable.

  • Tab Mix Plus 0.3.7.3 - tools for tab management.

  • TwitterFox 1.7.7.1 - so I don't have to bookmark actual twitter. Handy colour-coded tweet updates, too.

  • Undo Closed Tabs Button 3.0.3 - if you're as hamfisted as me, you need this.

  • Xmarks 3.0.2 - used to be called FoxMarks. Synchronise all your bookmarks across all your PCs. If only I had installed it on McGruder before she died...

Themes (unused since I installed Personas, above, but here for posterity):

Search Engines:

Google
Google Images
SamSpade Whois
Firefox Add-ons
Mycroft Project - for even more extra search engines
Chambers Dictionary
Chambers Thesaurus
Wikipedia
H2G2
YouTube
iMDb
Doctor Whoogle
BBC Recipe Finder
BBC (All of the BBC)
BBC News & Sport
eBay UK
eBay Negs and Neuts
ABE Books UK - Any word
Amazon UK

Also, Dreamwidth continues to make me happy. For instance, one of my bugbears with LJ was having to use the clunky and inefficient LJ Toys to track usage. But now? Now Google Analytics has been successfully installed and data is being gathered now.! YAY!!!!

Now all I have to do is hope that the lovely lovely customer who said he would take a look at McGruder, and if he can fix her will do it for parts + a couple of pints, will be able to sort her out...

Tab mix plus lets you undo closed tabs by middle-clicking the empty tab bar.

Yeah, Mat keeps mentioning this "middle click" thing. I reckon that's why his scrolly wheel on his mouse is buggered.

Or there's ctrl+12. I like ctrl+12.

A misplaced comma *and* a grocers' apostrophe in the first sentence?! Who are you and what have you done with Jennie?

We've all done it, and if that's the worst you do when you're having a few days as rough as the ones you're apparently having, then you're better than I am...

Ah. Well. No. I have been really horrible to someone in the comments of SoftFruit's journal, and I have cut the dog's toenail too short and made her bleed everywhere, and I have had a big panic attack at Mat and had to roll myself up tight in the duvet and die for most of today instead of doing anything productive.

This always seems to happen when I try to do the sodding happy posts meme.

We've all had days like *that* too (in fact more of mine than I'd like to remember have been like that recently). Hope you're feeling better soon.

I am going to go and have a snuggle with Small Person now. That usually helps.
