It was OK, if not entirely my kind of thing. There was much skill. The acrobats were very talented. I would like to have a go on the Wheel of Death, pls, but preferably one that does not have a dodgy rope holding it up that snaps in one of the more dangerous bits. Two acrobats fell, only one hurt himself, and he's just going to have a nasty bump on his forehead. The trampoline had some very frayed-looking bits too, but none of that broke.

[personal profile] amazing_holly was very impressed, and liked the candy floss. I am glad we went, having never been to the circus before, but I am also glad the tickets were free. I'd have felt a bit ripped off if we'd have paid £20 each, which was the face value.

The best circus I have ever been to, was one that we went to when holidaying, many years ago, somewhere in the Aquitaine part of France. It had tigers and fire-eaters, which was all very impressive to my little seven year old eyes.

Alas, the circus and funfairs for that matter, are not something one has ventured to for quite sometime.
