I did the how hetero are you? twitter test. I came out at 48% hetero, which is 6% gayer than Stephen Fry. Result! I wonder what the girls who told Mat and I off for filthy heterosexual kissing in the pub would get?

Anyway, this brings me to a slightly more important bit of news. Lovely burlesque_bunny has agreed to cover my shift on the second of August so that I can join in purple_pen's birthday celebrations at Leeds Pride. YAY!

I was quite surprised at how low my score was - Holly says I'm the most hetero man she knows, but I only got 85%...

Well considering the other people I know, it wouldn't necessarily take a lot to be the straightest :)

But when you factor in all the people I know in Minnesota, most of whom think of gay people in the same way they might think of space aliens -- something other people talk about, but no sensible person they know has ever seen one -- it's much more impressive to be among the most hetero.

I did the test, and it couldn't find enough hot words on which to hang a sexual orientation assessment. I would be pleased with that, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it just didn't find enough words period since I've only been on Twitter a couple of weeks.

Frankly, I thought I would come out a raging heterosexual because of all the romance book titles I've posted ;)

Apparently saying "cheap", "hunting", "chibi", "body" and "steak" makes me slightly gay, or maybe those words make me mostly not gay. Not really sure how that works.

I don't know about the twitter test, but the Channel 4 gayometer tells me I'm only 30% gay, and that I need to loosen up! :(

Mind you, one of the questions was whether I would rather meet or be my favourite footballer. I have no favourite footballer! I'm not sure how gay football is, so I don't know how that would effact the results.
