You may have noticed that blogging has been a little thin on the ground recently. Well, this post will show you why. May I present, The Plants:

George
This is George, my Habanero Chili plant.

geranium
My baby geranium. She got a bit stressed by the journey to our house, but is rallying nicely.

Audrey
Audrey is the latest addition to our little family. The picture is a bit odd, because I took it on my phone in direct sunlight. Again, she was a bit stressed by her journey (she clammed up all her traps yesterday, in protest), but she looks like she's going to be fine. She came from Hampshire Carnivorous Plants, by the way, whose service is excellent.

cherry seedlings
These pots are hopefully going to have cherry seedlings in. Mat is sceptical. We shall see.

Sweetpea seedlings.
As you can see, the sweetpea seedlings are doing fine...

Radishes and beetroot
... as are the radishes and beetroot

the herbs
And, although the French Lavender died, the rest of the herbs are doing grand, and we have some nice hardy English Lavender growing to replace it.

kitchen window box
And this was what started it all. Mat's desire to have fresh basil. Yup, it's all his fault.

If you click through to flickr, there's a description with each photo that gives you further details. I'm off to get ready for work (another thing which is taking up lots of time).

TTFN :D

Since George is a Habanero, shouldn't he be called Jorge? :)

Wheeeeeeeee we have those plates that Audrey is sitting on. Except we only have the side plates now, because we Freecycled the rest of them when we got new crockery as a wedding present.

The entire point of this comment was to say: GARDENING IS FUN WHEEEEE!
