Work was great tonight. Had fun working with Nicki, and yeah, there were a couple of tossers in, but that didn't really matter. Had a couple of bevvies with some of the regulars and Liz and Mark after knocking off and it was good, even though my back is still dicky.

For those of you who are wondering why I stay a barmaid when the pay isn't that marvellous and I have two degrees: this is it. I have never had a job before where I actively enjoy working. I love my job. It's that simple.

Have finished off the Weapons Grade Salsa upon arrival home, and it was even better having had a day to mature. Om nom nom. Now for a couple of episodes of BSG before sleep. We're into series 3 now, and I think the next one is the one with Helo and that guy who was the melty senator in X Men...

This is something I've been thinking about. I've had plenty of different jobs in my life, and working behind a bar is the only one which is actually enjoyable.
