Automated Attack Monkeys, Scalpel Mines, & Acid

Today I are bin mostly:

• Making my potato barrel from two old dustbins, a lot of elbow grease, and judicious application of drill and the trusty Spear and Jackson Predator. There may be photos later, because I am really proud of it.


• Cleaning the yard and the steps


• Sorting out the existing pots in the garden, weeding, and getting ready for the arrival of the compost bin.


• planting out beetroot and radishes


• Getting my hair done

A productive day, I feel. :D

You know, even thought I know that this was the shire county elections, and even in '97 they were solid Tory, doesn't make it feel any better seeing a map of my country looking like this:

In more personal news, and probably inspired by strangefrontier, I have chopped my hair this morning. It's now about the same length and shape as Missundaztood-era P!nk. Mat had to tidy up the back quite a bit LOL. It wasn't really long enough for the chopped bits to be any use for Locks of Love or similar, so does anyone have any ideas what to do with it? Will it be good for mulch?
