Conference always has its fair share of controversy, but the biggest issue to emerge from it this year is a very serious one. One of our new MPs is in serious need of a nickname, and we haven't agreed what it should be.

"That Dorky Science Teacher I Had for Tenth Grade Chemistry" is my vote, going on that photographic evidence alone. XD

Don't have DW to vote

but consider this a vote for JHupp, on the basis that I've heard it before and it therefore must have some sticking power. Geekier than the Huppster (which is a format arguably already taken by the Cleggster).

Did we ever sort out a nickname for Evan Harris? Or was it just "IT'S EVAN HARRIS YAAAAAAYYYYY"?

Hello! I am the LJer formerly known as purple_pen, but I have just renamed my LJ, and apparently one consequence of that is that I've lost control of the old OpenID (http://www.dreamwidth.org/profile?userid=21667&t=I) which I was using to read and comment on Dreamwidth - including all the access permissions and subscriptions that were associated with it.

I think I'll still see everything you post here via LJ cross-posts, including anything friendslocked, because your old miss_s_b friends contacts (http://miss-s-b.livejournal.com/profile) have been automatically updated to include my new LJ username as part of the rename process. But that doesn't extend to my OpenID, which is just functioning as a completely new and separate identity.

So could you please re-grant me access under this new identity? I think you would probably also need to resubscribe to the new ID if you want to see my LJ posts in your DW reading page, too.

Thank you!
