Most of the "morbidly obese" people look "obese" at most. None of the women who are "overweight" look it, nor do a large number of the "obese" ones. I think its partly a result of the body shape the individual in question has. The ladies with the larger hip:waist ratio don't look as overweight as those with a smaller one- even if their BMI, weight and height are comparable.

And of course BMI doesn't take into account how much muscle one has, how the fat is distributed (iirc that's a factor), or the myriad other factors which mean that the 300lb wrestler could be in better shape and have a lower risk of health problems than the young lady with the pie deficiency.

I don't disagree that there's far more to health than just BMI. I do think, though, that it is disturbing that someone posted that particular picture as an example of how BMI is wrong when, in fact, that woman truly does appear to be underweight. Looking at her, one can see that she has very little muscle mass, unlike your wrestler. If that is held up as an example of BMI error, I'm not convinced it is.

I think different photos are trying to illustrate different things. The "overweight" and "obese" ladies demonstrate that BMI is a crock. I think many of the "underweight" ladies are there to critique the "anorexic is beautiful" myth.
