I WANT TO GO TO SPACE BECAUSE... Voldemort promised me a rocketship. But he's dead now, so this is Plan B.
AVPM reference. Clearly she is the best candidate.

Thanks for voting, Sabrina Rentzschke is now one step closer to space. You can help him out even more by sharing your vote.

Joyce Grenfell would be brilliant! "Davros. Don't do that".

I loved the alternate history of Doctor Who, but I'd have made Miriam the 4th, if only because of Tom Baker's admiration for her. I thought the asides (Judi Dench as The Mistress, etc) were more fun than the Doctors themselves in some cases.

Yeah -- also, Penelope Keith works far better as the Fifth Doctor than the fourth.

I agree about the fourth doctor, and I'd put Jacqueline Pearce in as the sixth. Siobhan Redmond is an inspired choice for the seventh.

The new series choices are more questionable. The relaunch greatly benefited from a lead actor who could bring a cachet of artistic integrity and credibility to the production. Tilda Swinton for the ninth doctor?

As for the tenth, Sue Perkins is a charming TV personality, but you really need an actual actor in the role. Suranne Jones would fit much better here.

Axe and Lynx are the same product, they just use a different name here in NA. Maybe Lynx was already trademarked.

That list of female Doctors is brilliant. Much better than the idiotic one a while back which suggested Helena Bonham-Carter as the Ninth.

Its also much more realistic in terms of who would be more likely to take the role, and when. I can't see Helena Bonham-Carter in anything other than a special episode. Probably written by Neil Gaiman. I could possibly see her as the eighth- but then you'd never have the Big Finish audios.

Awww, now I want to listen to Big Finish's series of audios with Miriam Margolyes as the sixth Doctor with her travelling companion Dr Evelyn Smythe played by that noted performer Colin Baker.

They could make a running gag of the chocolate cakes, with him being the "baker"...
