The first thing I did when I got in the office was turn the heating up. That was an hour ago. I am still wearing my coat, scarf and hat and I can't feel my fingers.

When will it be warm enough in the office for Jennie to take her coat off?

(ETA: for those interested in my clothing choices: ankle length black leather coat, Cadbury purple crushed velvet scarf, grey Preacher-style hat given to me by A Friend)

ETA additional: ten past 12 and I still can't feel my fingers.

ETA final: congrats to [personal profile] hollymath who was bang on. Coat has just come off. Although in the interests of honesty I should say that neither scarf nor hat have.

...is it wrong that my answer was mostly based on "What sounds most like something a supervillain would say?"

I SO VERY MUCH FEEL YOU. The dopes at our stupid University "turned down" (read OFF) the heat for winter break and instead of turning it back on the day before we arrived, FOUR people in our building had to call them before they'd saunter over and fire up the boiler.

Working in hat and coat and a temperature of 4C in an office is completely unacceptable.

I feel badly for the guys that just moved into the renovated office downstairs last week. The dipshits FORGOT TO HOOK UP THE HEATER ALTOGETHER so who knows when they'll actually get heat.

Thankfully today we don't have to worry about wonky heat. It's currently a balmy -9C outside with many inches of snow having fallen overnight and still falling so they very wisely closed the offices at the University for once today. I am glad I'm not back with my parents in Ohio where right now the temperature outside is -20.5C and Monday they're supposed to get to a low of -27C BRRRRR

LOL Well I hope it makes you think warm thoughts!

I've dug out my snow booooooots and my cuddle duds to wear under my clothes and will look like the brother in A Christmas Story soon to go out and dig the car out while the snow is still relatively light and fluffy.

Hopefully I don't end up like this ;)

Your clothing choice makes it sound as if you're practising to be the female Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock. Please tell me it is so.
